At Crystal Springs, we believe that we have the premier facility for junior golf in northeast Wisconsin. Our dedication to young golfers is evident at "Little Crystal", our 3-hole, Par-3 course and two practice greens that we provide for use by junior golfers and their families. As part of our commitment to youth golf, golf cart fees are waived for junior golfers riding with a paid adult at Crystal Springs.
Continuing our tradition of teaching the great game of golf to kids, we have partnered with The First Tee of Northeast Wisconsin to provide youth golf instruction at our course this year. There will be two levels of instruction available. The details are provided below. The lessons are designed to be safe, fun and educational. Students will build character, learn life skills, as well as the skills and fundamentals of golf. The 1st TEE-ers:
The 1st TEE-ers program is available for kids ages 5 and above. Participants will learn the basics of chipping, putting, and a full golf swing while playing on the Little Crystal par 3 course.
- Thursdays June 15th through July 20th
- Sessions from 8am - 9:15am; or 9:30am - 10:45am
- Cost is $50 for the entire program
PLAY-ers:
This program is available for youth from 7-17 years old with some golfing experience. Youth in the PLAY-ers program will play 9 holes at Crystal Springs Golf Course each week and will also receive specific instruction and clinics on the driving range.
- Thursdays June 15th through July 20th
- PLAY-ers tee times will start at 7am and thereafter
- Cost is $60 for the entire program
The Seymour Junior Golf Foundation also provides additional instruction for middle school golfers:
Middle School Golf Camp:
This program is being run by the Seymour Junior Golf Foundation and it has been very successful. It allows for a good combination of instruction and playing golf. This program will be every Wednesday night from mid-June 2017 through mid-August 2017 at the Little Crystal golf facility and is open to kids in Grades 6-8.
